Hello There!

My name is Samantha Kolko, and I was born and raised in Buffalo Grove, IL and am a graduate from The University of Arizona with a B.A in Theatre, and a minor in Media Arts: Film and Television. While in college, my affinity for editing began in an introductory film class and grew stronger during my internship at KOLD-NEWS 13 where I wrote, shot, and edited local commercials for the city of Tucson. I also became an editor/videographer for the University of Arizona’s Communication Department. I researched stories around campus, shot, produced and edited them into short clips, and put them onto UAnews.org as well as youtube. After my big move to California, I started at KO- Creative, an Entertainment Marketing company where I edited quality movie trailers, as well as commercial spots for clients. I also have experience editing Demo Reels and Sizzle Reels. Being an actor myself, I have the proper knowledge, and understand how to put together the right clips that can really showcase your best work.
